Senior Trip

Last Thursday after school, 5 senior girls, our school counselor, and I headed off to Cleveland for the senior trip! Since there are only girls graduating this year, they planned their trip around shopping at a nice mall in Cleveland! It was only about an hour away, not a bad driving distance at all. We got a suite so the girls could all stay together. Not all of the seniors were able to go, but the 5 that did had such a great time! Here's our group: Bre, Liz, Ms. Strunk, Ashley, Amanda, me, and Stephanie.
Two minutes after checking in, the girls had claimed beds, unloaded hair products in front of the mirror, changed clothes, and were ready to explore! We checked out the pool and hot tub and pretended to exercise in the work out room! Bre decided to try the Braille numbering on the room number signs!
The glasses add a nice touch!
We headed to TGIFridays for a nice dinner out. We were all so stuffed that we had to take lots of leftovers back to the hotel, luckily our suite had a frig! After digesting for a little while, we then went swimming and relaxed in the hot tub!

Here we are, the lucky two adults who the girls chose to take on their trip! Kira is our school counselor. The girls thought it was hilarious to call us by our first names. They laughed every time!

We spent most of Friday shopping. Everyone found lots of things they "needed", we ate too much in the food court, and by late afternoon our feet hurt from walking and we headed back to the hotel. We ordered pizza and wings for dinner, went to the pool, and spent a very fun late night together! It was a wonderful trip, althought I was so exhausted by the time I got home that I had a headache! I'm glad that I got to go though! (see the above blog to learn about the other activity of the trip!) Here are the girls, ready to go home, most of them still in their pjs, and carrying LOTS of extra shopping bags!
