our school is having a door decorating contest this year. we've never done this before, but the students are loving it! my homeroom, the seniors, decorated my door and all surrounding wall! they did it all themselves, i gave them the snow globe idea, and they ran with it. i loved not having to help! =) they went way beyond any expectation of the contest, and the other kids and staff are really impressed, a little jealous that it's not their door, but still impressed! i couldn't believe how well it all turned out. they used an old christmas tree stand as the base and a clear plastic punch bowl as the globe. it was fun to see them all come together to work on it- no drama or arguing, no problems or laziness! great job seniors!

Oh my goodness, that's so creative. Somehow, after 11 years of school kids finally start to figure out how to work together- it's a beautiful thing.
