We were thrilled to get to see the Reinhards, some of our best friends from college. We just love Nate, Katie, and their kiddos!
Our vacation was bookended with time at the Joseph house, a Colorado visit wouldn't be complete without it! We immediately fell in love with Micah and Betsy's daughter, Elsie!
We camped in the mountains near Winter Park one night. Elsie did great on her first camping trip!
There was a bit of a squirrel incident... actually the guys killed a squirrel and then tried to figure out how to skin it. In the meantime, I googled it on my phone to make sure it was safe to eat! Gotta love technology. In this picture, you can just barely see the poor little squirrel on the stump awaiting its fate while the guys discuss their plan.
I think they each only got about a bite of meat off that super tiny leg!
