First day of school

although i have been at shcool almost all summer, this was officially the first day "back to work" at CCDS! everything went so well, thankfully, after all the work i put into getting everything ready to flow smoothly today! all the teachers were ready, rooms were freshly painted and decorated, new books on the shelves, schedules printed, electives chosen... i could go on forever! the best part is seeing the kids come back, excited to get into the new year (even if they don't look happy, they are glad to be back, most of them) and feel good about the changes we have made this year. we have a really good group of high school kids, i think they will really make it a great year. i am going to busy the moment i get there until the moment i leave, the work never ends. it's so fun! i can't wait to show dad and mom the new building when they come in september, it doesn't even look like the same school anymore! God has really blessed CCDS in so so so many ways over the past year and summer. PRAISE BE TO GOD!
