Canning

I have now successfully canned 14 jars of homemade salsa this month! it's so exciting to see the shelves in the basement filling up with my hard work! i LOVE getting out new jars during the year, knowing exactly what's in the jar, every ingredient! i still need to do peaches and applesauce. i think we'll have enough tomatoes to do a batch of spaghetti sauce too. we already have enough jam, strawberry and blueberry, to last at least the whole next year. it's a lot of work to have a garden and do all this canning, but it's awesome! hopefully, some of you will be here to share in these yummy treats this year!
