we met the forsythe family in leadville for dinner one night. these two girls were the flower girls in our wedding. not the same little girls anymore! charissa, ariel, and their brother kieran. these are my best kiddos from emporia- i was around when they were born, babysat them all many many wonderful times!
we also got to visit nate and katie reinhard, our dear friends from jbu. they have two daughters, elizabeth and sarah. drew just fell in love with little sarah while he held her! we quickly become elizabeth's new friends, "cawwie and dwoo"!!! we had a wonderful time catching up with each other and loved the time together! nate and drew also got together with another jbu friend, micah, for a night of camping!
i don't seem to have any pictures of a few friends we saw. (our camera decided to break our second day in colorado, so we haven't gotten any pictures off it yet) we stayed with galen and beth miller the first few days in colorado, they are great family friends from emporia. we had a wonderful time all together at their house! we also got to see grant and amy english and their kids, grant was the youth pastor at carrie's church for a while, it was so neat to see their family again!
like i said, a WONDERFUL time of seeing many people that we haven't seen in way too long! thank the LORD for these wonderful blessings of our friends and family!
