Last Thursday evening, we met the Greathouse family at the Olive Garden in Buffalo! We hadn't seen them in seven years! They are missionaries at Black Forest Academy in Germany, and we were so excited to get to talk and catch up!
Emma, me, and Katie Chris, Jen, me, and Drew We love the Greathouse Family!
This March, we also visited Jusin, Alice, and Caleb at their home at Pine Springs Camp. Eric & Alicea also drove up from NC! It was a great weekend. The boys played with Justin's new bow. We went hiking, ate lots of good food, and played with 5 month old Caleb! He was very giggly, laughing at everything we did! What a cute family!
Earlier in March, Drew and I went to North Carolina to help his brother, Jeff, swap engines in his 4Runner. Drew, Jeff, Val, and Eric worked all weekend! Here are the guys getting ready to remove the engine...The engine is coming out...
Here is the crew with both engines! I guess I should have a picture showing that the 4Runner actually does run now, but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it!
Here are some very random pictures I just got off the camera!
Molly and Annie are "fighting" over a new toy from Alicea. Our good friends, Rob and Stacy, had a new baby- Alena, here with brothers Sam and Simon. We made lots of s'mores and used the fireplace a lot this winter. This is a picture taken over Christmas vacation, in my Grandma Gimple's back yard. We bought a used snow blower, and Drew put it to good use. This picture was not recent, thank goodness!
Drew and I were married on December 2, 2000. We have two dogs, no kids, our dogs are our kids! I am the Vice-Principal at Community Country Day School, love to read, scrapbook and make cards. Drew is the Sales and Estimating Manager at Sterling Dula Architectural Products (a railing company). The only hobby Drew has time for is rebuilding his 68 Bronco. We love the Lord and love spending time with our families when we can.
Molly is a 6 year old chocolate lab. She has a sensitive stomach, loves cheese, and is very talkative! It drives her nuts when it's time for a walk, and she has to wait on us to get ready! Annie is a 5 year old yellow lab. She loves to give kisses and cuddle with anyone. She is very gentle and loving. Both our "kids" are good with people and children, great travelers, and wonderful pets! We feel blessed to have them in our lives!
