I guess wii let everyone else take pictures this Thanksgiving! I was hoping they would all share pics with me but I don't have any yet! So I will just tell you about it...
Wii hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 11 of Drew's family, 13 counting us. That's a lot of people in our house! Drew, bro Justin, and his mom "ran" a 5K Thanksgiving morning. The rest of us started on the meal, watched the parade, and played with baby Caleb (Justin and Alice's 6 week old). Dinner somehow came together all at the same time, and wii enjoyed all the traditional fixins'. Wii were glad to have Gma and Gpa Shaffer and Gma Learn join us for dinner also.
Black Friday was a fun day of shopping. It really was fun- we slept in, went shopping around 9am, got Starbucks, had soup at Panera, and relaxed the afternoon away at home. Since the Shaffers will not be together for Christmas, wii had our Christmas that evening! After a yummy Christmas dinner of tacos and burritos, wii exchanged gifts. Any clues as to what I got?

How did you guess? Some of the family went together and got me a Wii! I couldn't believe it! I'd been wanting one for a while and had no idea they had gotten it for me! Everyone enjoyed giving and opening their gifts together.
I can't believe how close Christmas is! We are heading to Kansas for Gimple Christmas on Friday, Dec. 19, only two weeks away! WOW! I guess I'd better get my Gimple shopping done soon! I have spent my time this week playing the Wii, decorating for Christmas, and trying to eat less salt (somehow my blood pressure is higher than it should be). Hopefully with more exercise with the Wii Fit, better eating habits (not that they were bad before), and some relaxing breathing techniques, I will see a difference soon!
Love to you all! Sorry it's been so long!
